Our Story 

Watson Stockfeeds was established in 2015 by Campbell and Sonia Watson after identifying a gap in the local stockfeed industry. Working closely with their growing team, they set out to provide high-quality feed solutions tailored to the needs of their local community.

In 2017, increasing demand led to the purchase of the business’s first pellet truck, enabling on-farm deliveries. Continued growth saw the acquisition of a larger feed trailer in 2021, expanding delivery services across Central and Northern Queensland.

​

Working alongside nutritionist Dr Ian Lean, Campbell and Sonia developed a premium Dry Lick formula, manufactured in Taroom. Watson Stockfeeds Breeder has since become a highly sought-after product during the breeding season.

​

After three years of planning and construction, December 2022 marked the opening of the Watson Stockfeeds shopfront at 74 Donners Road, Taroom. Since then, the business has continued to expand its product range, offering a comprehensive selection available in-store today.

OUR RANGE OF PRODUCTS

Watson Stockfeeds offers a wide range of feed options to meet the nutritional and general needs of various animals, farmers, and rural communities. We provide stockfeed, dry lick, rural merchandise and various agricultural products, such as agricultural chemicals, seeds, portable panels, lick tubs, grain feeders, concrete troughs, and so much more.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS SAY

We have been feeding the Manildra Pasture Pellets, supplied by Watson Stockfeeds for a number of years now; to all classes of cattle including cows and calves, A.I. heifers, weaners and sale bulls. 

The pellets are excellent value for money per unit of protein and energy. As well as being highly palatable and super safe to feed.
